a) Passenger Travel We run inter city and intra state coach services on fixed routes and fixed times, using standard, non air conditioned buses.

b) Courier Services We carry documents, cartons, spare parts, market goods and other parcels on our scheduled buses and on dedicated delivery vans. Every parcel is given a waybill number so it can be tracked.

c) Charter and Hire We provide private group transport for schools, churches, corporate events, weddings, outings and other occasions. This is booked separately from our regular scheduled trips.

d) Mobile Delivery This service is launching soon. Once it is live, separate terms for that service will be added to this page and will apply alongside these general terms.

e) Affiliate Programme Individuals or agents who wish to sell tickets or refer customers on our behalf may register as affiliates. Affiliates must follow the specific affiliate agreement given to them at the point of registration, in addition to these terms.

3. Booking a Seat
  1. You can book a seat online through our website, by choosing your route, your travel date and the exact seat you want.
  2. Once payment is confirmed, your ticket is sent to your email and shown in your dashboard immediately. Keep this ticket safe, as you will be asked to show it before boarding.
  3. A ticket is valid only for the route, date and time written on it. It cannot be used for a different day or a different route unless our staff approve a change before the travel time.
  4. Each ticket covers one seat for one passenger. Children above the age set by our staff at the terminal must have their own paid seat.
  5. You are responsible for giving correct information when booking, such as your name and phone number. We are not responsible for any problem that comes from wrong information you supplied.
  6. Fares shown on the website or at the terminal, such as the standard fare between Port Harcourt and Bori, may change from time to time without a long notice. The fare that applies to your trip is the one shown at the time you complete your payment.

4. Payment
  1. All bookings must be paid for in full before travel, except where a charter agreement states otherwise in writing.
  2. Payment can be made through the payment options provided on our website or at our terminals.
  3. Once a payment is confirmed, it is treated as a valid transaction. If you believe a payment was taken in error, contact us immediately with your proof of payment so we can look into it.
  4. Nizvil Motors is not responsible for failed transactions caused by your bank, your network provider or your device. Please confirm your ticket was issued before leaving the payment page.

5. Boarding and Departure
  1. Passengers must arrive at the terminal at least thirty minutes before the departure time written on their ticket.
  2. Buses depart at the fixed time stated on the ticket. We do not wait for late passengers, because doing so would delay every other passenger on that bus.
  3. If you arrive late and miss your bus, this is treated as a missed trip, and the refund rules in section 8 will apply.
  4. Boarding is done in an orderly manner. Passengers must show their ticket and a valid means of identification if requested by our staff.
  5. We reserve the right to refuse boarding to anyone who is drunk, violent, abusive to staff or other passengers, or who is carrying items not allowed under section 10.

6. Luggage
  1. Each passenger is allowed a reasonable amount of personal luggage, as guided by our terminal staff. Luggage beyond the free allowance may attract an extra charge.
  2. Passengers must declare the content of their bags where asked. We reserve the right to inspect luggage before it is loaded, for the safety of everyone on board.
  3. Valuables such as money, jewellery, phones, laptops and important documents should be kept with you and not placed in the luggage hold. Nizvil Motors will not be responsible for the loss of such items if they are placed in the hold.
  4. Any luggage left unclaimed at a terminal for more than seven days may be treated as abandoned.

7. Courier and Parcel Service
  1. Every parcel accepted for delivery is given a waybill tracking number at the point of drop off. This number must be kept by the sender and shared with the receiver, as it is needed to track and collect the parcel.
  2. Parcels are carried on our scheduled bus routes or on dedicated delivery vans, depending on the size and nature of the goods.
  3. Items dropped before 7:00am on a scheduled route usually arrive the same day. Longer distance trips and bulk deliveries may take between one and two days. These timeframes are estimates and not a guarantee, as road conditions and other factors can cause delays.
  4. The sender must accurately describe the content of the waybill. Nizvil Motors reserves the right to open and inspect any parcel where there is reasonable suspicion about its content.
  5. The receiver must present the correct waybill number and valid identification before a parcel is released to them.
  6. A waybill not collected within fourteen days of arrival may attract a storage charge, and after thirty days, may be treated as unclaimed goods.
  7. We will make reasonable effort to keep every parcel safe, but we do not insure the full value of goods unless the sender specifically pays for declared value cover at the point of drop off. Where no declared value cover is purchased, our liability for a lost or damaged parcel is limited as stated in section 12.

8. Cancellations, Changes and Refunds
  1. If you wish to cancel or change a booking, you must contact us before the departure time on your ticket.
  2. Cancellations made within a reasonable time before departure, as guided by our staff, may qualify for a refund, subject to a service charge which will be communicated to you at the time of cancellation.
  3. Tickets not used and not cancelled before departure, or missed due to late arrival at the terminal, are treated as forfeited and are not refundable.
  4. Refunds, where approved, will be paid back to the account or channel used for the original payment, within a reasonable number of working days.
  5. For charter and hire bookings, a separate cancellation and refund arrangement, agreed in writing at the time of booking, will apply.

9. Delays, Breakdowns and Changes We Make
  1. Nizvil Motors will do everything reasonable to keep to the departure and arrival times on your ticket. However, delays can happen because of traffic, bad weather, road blocks, security concerns, mechanical faults or other matters outside our control.
  2. Where a trip is delayed or a bus develops a fault along the way, our staff will make reasonable effort to inform passengers and arrange an alternative bus where possible.
  3. Where Nizvil Motors cancels a scheduled trip entirely, affected passengers will be offered a seat on the next available bus or a full refund, at the passenger’s choice.
  4. We are not liable for any loss, cost or inconvenience arising from a delay that is beyond our reasonable control, such as bad weather, road closures, accidents caused by other road users, or directives from government or security agencies.

10. Prohibited Items

The following items must not be carried as luggage or sent as parcels with Nizvil Motors:

  1. Firearms, ammunition, explosives or any weapon.
  2. Illegal drugs or banned substances.
  3. Flammable, toxic or highly dangerous chemicals.
  4. Live animals, unless specifically approved by our staff before travel.
  5. Stolen goods or items obtained through illegal means.
  6. Any item banned under Nigerian law.

Any person found carrying a prohibited item will be handed over to the appropriate authorities, and Nizvil Motors reserves the right to refuse service to that person without a refund.

11. Conduct of Passengers and Customers
  1. Passengers are expected to behave with respect towards our staff, drivers and fellow passengers at all times.
  2. Smoking, drinking of alcohol and use of hard drugs are not allowed on board our buses.
  3. Any passenger who damages a bus or terminal property will be required to pay for the cost of repair or replacement.
  4. Nizvil Motors reserves the right to remove any passenger who becomes disruptive or puts the safety of others at risk, without a refund for the remaining part of the trip.

12. Our Responsibility and Its Limits
  1. Nizvil Motors takes safety seriously. Every bus is checked before it leaves the yard and is expected to meet our internal safety standard before it is allowed to carry passengers or goods.
  2. While we take all reasonable care, Nizvil Motors will not be held responsible for loss, injury or damage caused by matters outside our reasonable control, including accidents caused by other road users, bad weather, natural disasters, civil unrest or acts of government.
  3. For parcels without declared value cover, our responsibility for a lost or damaged item is limited to a reasonable amount as determined by Nizvil Motors, based on the nature of the parcel, and not the full commercial value of the goods.
  4. Nothing in this document is meant to remove any right you have under Nigerian law that cannot be taken away by agreement.

13. Charter and Hire Bookings
  1. Charter bookings, such as for schools, weddings, corporate events and private groups, are arranged directly with our office through the contact numbers or email provided on this website.
  2. A charter agreement will state the specific route, date, time, price and any special conditions agreed between Nizvil Motors and the customer, and that agreement will apply together with these general terms.
  3. A deposit may be required to secure a charter booking, and the balance is expected to be paid before or on the day of the trip, as agreed.

14. Affiliates
  1. Persons who register to become an affiliate agree to represent Nizvil Motors honestly and to follow the specific affiliate terms given to them.
  2. Nizvil Motors reserves the right to suspend or end an affiliate arrangement at any time where the affiliate acts against the interest of the company or its customers.

15. Use of This Website
  1. This website and the booking system are provided for the purpose of booking trips, tracking waybills and getting information about our services.
  2. You agree not to use this website for any fraudulent activity, or to attempt to interfere with how the website or booking system works.
  3. Nizvil Motors will make reasonable effort to keep the website working properly but does not guarantee that it will be free from errors or interruption at all times.

16. Changes to These Terms

Nizvil Motors may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time, to reflect changes in our services, our fares or the law. The updated version will be posted on this page, and the date at the top will show when it was last changed. Continued use of our services after a change means you accept the updated terms.

17. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are guided by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disagreement arising from the use of our services will first be handled through direct discussion with our office, and where it cannot be settled that way, it will be resolved according to Nigerian law.
